Ready for the off...well, to head to Glenridding, village by Ullswater, Lake District, start of Helvellyn tri on Sun, 8.30am. It's blowing a gale and chucking down with rain. Figure I need to get there early today and make sure of a camping space. At least dad's van has a good heater. If the weather's like this on Sun the course will probably be shortened - the run, anyway. Done no training this week, although did mean to do a couple of short blasts on bike-run bricks. Decorating took over - and socialising, unusually for me!
Can't believe this event's almost here...
